An experiment using footage and a CGI butterfly.

I really like making CGI objects appear realistic in a natural environment. I used my Sony A7RIII to shoot this beautiful footage in an Arboretum in Raleigh. It was also an exercise to color correct footage and make it more appealing.

A snapshot from Cinema4d with the 3d tracked footage and the CGI butterfly. Don’t forget to add some final touches in After effects or any compositing software.
